In August, we announced our first ever reader challenge for The Article. We introduced an opportunity for readers to send their artwork to us for the Spooky Spotlight pages of our October issue. The challenge was inspired by Halloween and the scariest time of year.
We invited artists living in the Peace Region of Alberta and British Columbia to send us all things spooky, creepy and strange. We wanted to share their spiders, skeletons, witches and ghouls. We wanted to see their ghosts, pumpkins and haunted trees. We hope you feel a bit of fear and fright in their work as you enter our haunted gallery. Mmwahahaha!
