Time Gone—Christine Young

Time Gone, Digital photography by Christine Young

In Time Gone, the flowers blur as though caught in the current of time.

What once felt still and certain begins to dissolve, reminding us how quickly life changes and how easily moments slip beyond our grasp.

The petals help illustrate the dying and passing of the flowers’ time.

Expressive motion transforms a still life into a reflection on the passage of time.

Created with a digital camera as her medium, photographed in her studio, and with post-production to complete this image.
