Public art across the Peace

Beaverlodge

Fairview

The community-made mural was part of the Canada Mosaic Mural project, which was launched in 2015 to celebrate Canada’s 150th birthday. The Fairview mural is one of 150 across the country that are part of the project.
The mural represents “a cultural mosaic, a time capsule, a visual portrayal of history, an art masterpiece from the soul of the nation. An art piece that fifty years from now, may inspire another generation, who will in turn be able to celebrate through the mural, and maybe take it upon themselves to add to this memory.”

Grande Prairie

The Muskoseepi Park amphitheatre is surrounded by murals by local artists in Grande Prairie. The artists featured on the amphitheatre include Tim Heimdal, Louise Lissoway, Louanne Hart, Clancy Moonbeam Fitzgerald, Leslie Duggan, and Stacey Brown.
