Journalist and musician Nardwuar the Human Serviette has been appointed to the Order of Canada.

“I am in awe,” said Nardwuar on social media.

Veterans want a new cenotaph in GP

Veterans Frank Skolly and Dean Langton told Grande Prairie City council they believe it’s time for a new cenotaph.
“This cenotaph has not been properly updated in 30 – 40 years,” said Skolly, noting that the current cenotaph in Jubilee Park should be replaced.
Skolly hopes to have a new cenotaph similar to the original one in the city. The current cenotaph is the third iteration.
He also wants the cenotaph to be moved to accommodate more people at Remembrance Day ceremonies.
